The Start of Life!

Possibly the strangest photograph I have shot, but one of the most organic, condensation on the inside of a plastic bag!  The plastic bag is covering a ceramic pot that is being kept moist for further work.

The pot is a coil pot made from pugmill clay.  It is based on African pots.  It has gone through an upside light bulb stage but is heading towards a guord shape. (Family: CUCURBITACEAE, Genus: Lagenaria, Species: siceraria).  Pot to be seen shortly.

Sub Zero in Regent's Park

A scene more akin to Eastern European than to Central London, frozen icicles cascading down struggling water fountains in the Avenue Gardens.  Only those with non-slip boots and arctic gloves were brave enough to stop and admire natures sculptures.

Princess of Wales Conservatory, Kew Gardens

A lovely time exploring the conservatory, sniffing out the Titan Arum, searching for the remaining butterflies (two) and watching the steam come down onto the lily pads of the Victoria Amazonica (giant waterlily).

Regent's Park

It doesn't really look like Regent's Park but this is taken from the bridge between the mosque and the playing fields, near the boating lake.  It's has a slightly Japanesy feel to it, but the plastic bottle floating in the water (which I have airbrushed out) places it in England.

Martigues, France

Martigues, a waterway town on the train line of 'la côte bleue', or otherwise known as the Miramas à l'Estaque line.

Boats, water and close to the lovely beach of Sainte Croix not to be confused with the train station of Croix Sainte!  The station required is La Couronne - Carro for sand, sea and sun.
